State-of-the-art texturing applications and latest technologies

The design and development of various functionalities for machined surfaces through texturing processes has been a much used tool throughout history.

Currently, there are numerous sectors, such as automotive, aeronautical, optical, microfluidics and electronics, on which work is being carried out with the aim of developing surfaces with specific objectives, such as:

  • Reduction of friction coefficients with fluids or between surfaces Uniform distribution of oil and hydrodynamic effect
  • Improvement of sealing of static and dynamic couplings
  • Absorption of lubricant particles
  • Improvement of coating adhesion
  • Reduction of residual stresses and form deviations
