The
Digital Grinding Innovation Hub is a new node for the progression of
experimentation and demonstration.
The new Digital Grinding Innovation Hub is a big step forward for the
development of innovative grinding solutions and industrial digitalisation in
the Basque country. It provides an open space for the experimentation and
demonstration of technologies, solutions and developments of high technological
maturity.
The DGIH carries out applied research activities and industrial R&D
activities aimed at the development of new more productive and more
eco-efficient grinding processes with zero defects. At the same time, they will
develop new machine-tool concepts and machine components, generate and develop
new solutions for the manufacture of high added value parts in collaboration
with end customers, as well as providing consultancy services on the grinding
process and dissemination and communication of grinding advances, especially to
SMEs.
