The present invention relates to a laser inspection and machining head, comprising: -a laser emission source (1), -regulating means (3) for regulating the power of the laser emission source (1) for switching alternatively between a first high-power laser beam (4) and a second low-power laser beam (5), -first guiding means (6) for guiding the first high-power laser beam (4) on the workpiece (2), and -second guiding means (7) for guiding the second low-power laser beam (5) on the workpiece (2), the first high-power laser beam (4) being used for machining the workpiece (2) by boring, and the second low-power laser beam (5) being used for inspecting the workpiece (2).
