IK4-Ideko IN FIGURES

In 2010, our income exceeded € 8 million Euros (62% under contract, 38% research)

In 2010 a large sum of money was spent on the acquisition of top level equipment. A total of one million euros was invested, which provides IK4-Ideko with differentiating resources that will allow the centre to continue research into new fields and obtain results that are transferable to our customers. From 2006 to 2010, more than €8 million has been invested.

We have closed the financial year with a staff of 101, of which 7 are in trainee positions (PFC and grants).

The total staff of IK4-Ideko has increased by 6.9% with respect to the previous year. This increase was the result of a strong recruitment drive that is being carried out in this department, whose aim is to provide the organisation with highly qualified personnel who are capable of responding to the needs of the various lines of research. In December 2010, there were 17 doctors on the staff and 10 students studying for doctorates, so there are now 71 staff members who have a higher level qualification.

To provide the organisation with personnel qualified at this level and to reach the objectives set out in the various plans means that education and training is a fundamental part of our system (4.5% of staff time is devoted to education and training).
