This article covers the work carried out in the manufacture of ophthalmologic components, specifically intraocular lenses and optical implants. The ultra-precision machines used in the processes are presented: Micromilling machine, ultra precision lathe and laser processing machine with ultrashort pulse. These machines have been designed and developed for applications among which are optical and ophthalmologic components.
